Custodial history

Scott began his motorsports journey as a kid, growing up on a family farm in Springfield, PEI. He began working on and building cars and wrenching machinery more than he did milking cows.
He always had an interest in anything mechanical and anything that moved that could be fixed or made to go faster. He was around Drag racing when he was younger and always tried to race every car that he had. He also got into motorcycles and drag-raced those- he loves experiencing the speed that is built into things.
One of his proudest accomplishments was when he was just 20 years old; he drove across the United States and ended up at a company in San Diego, where he worked on Ferrari models for the 1986 movie “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.”
Scott has built numerous stock cars and race cars. When he isn’t working in the garage or racing, he can be found behind the camera. His involvement in motor sports photography has been featured in “Inside Track Magazine” and GT magazine.”
Always challenging himself, he has also been involved with Auto Crossing for the past several years, with a Lotus 7 Replica, that he and his friend Dave Armstrong built. They raced with the Moncton Motorsport Club for years. He’s received three Canadian championships with it, and several Maritime and Club championships.
In 2019, he had the experience of a lifetime at the Daytona 24-hour race with a team from PEI, through Atlantis Motor Group and Warehouse 8 Racing. They dealt with some mechanical issues with the car, but got everything fixed, and ultimately received the “Spirit of Daytona Award” for their perseverance.
Scott is also the director of the Prince Edward Island portion of the Maritime Motorsports Hall Of Fame Inc. He has done photography for the induction ceremonies and helps out whenever he can.
He has a daughter named Janelle, who studies film in Toronto, and she is working on a short documentary about Scott’s motorsports journey.
Scott has owned 60 to 70 car, and claims that “its not done yet”.
