Biographical history

William Rommel was a general merchant in Alma, Albert County, New Brunswick. He married Sarah Ellen DeLong (d. 1950 at Saint John, N.B.) at Saint Martins, Saint John Co., N.B. in 1880. They had at least four children, all born at Alma, Albert County, N.B.: daughter b. 1889, son, 1891, son, John Roy born 1893 and son born in 1895. William Rommel died in 1925 at Alma, N.B. He had a brother named Henry.
