This collection contains textual material related to veterans of World War I and World War II from Charlotte County as well as news related to veterans and Remembrance Day events. Most of the items in this collection are newspaper articles, which include news stories, editorials, reprints, and obituaries related to Charlotte County veterans or Remembrance Day events. Also included are promotional documents and pamphlets from the Royal Canadian Legion, Veteran’s Affairs Canada, and the War Amps. Lastly, a piece of correspondence between the Charlotte County Archives and Veteran’s Affairs Canada is also included.

This collection contains articles published in the St. Croix Courier which were part of a series written by F.E. McConvey titled “In-Laws, Outlaws, and Kinfolk”. This series of articles was dedicated to genealogical research into the families of Charlotte County, New Brunswick. Articles could provide advice to readers on how to conduct genealogical research for themselves, but could also contain the results of other people’s genealogical research and the stories of how that information was found.

Also includes some documents from the Sea Rangers of the S.R.S. Haida, and administrative documents from St. Stephen, Milltown, Pennfield, St. George, Blacks Harbour and Deer Island Girl Guide and Brownie troops, as well as a scrapbook belonging to Kaye Walsh used for a trip to Mexico.
