Scope and content
This item is a framed poster, behind glass, of the ship THE ESPERANTO, that won the International Fisherman's Race in 1920. The Columbian Tape-marked Pure Manila Rope company had the posters made. The image is mostly black and white with a little color on the flags, masts, and below the waterline. The sails are all up and there are many people standing on the deck. The frame is plain wood painted green. There is a water stain at the very top of the image.
