Administrative history

A Saint John-based newspaper that is distributed throughout the province of New Brunswick. Publication started on July 16 1923 when existing Saint John newspapers The Daily Telegraph and The Sun and The Daily Journal merged. The paper later renamed itself as The New Brunswick Telegraph Journal on November 7 1989. In 1992 it was later changed to The Telegraph Journal. These later editions of the paper were published province-wide. The Telegraph-Journal is published by Brunswick News.
