This collection contains books and loose documents related to the St. Andrews branch of the Catholic Women’s League of Canada. These items contain financial information on the day to day activities of this group, as well as meeting minutes and annual reports, all of which provide a detailed look at the activities this branch organization has undertaken over the years. Fonds consists of four series comprised of records created and collected by family members documenting their involvement with the Presbyterian Church in general, St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Sackville, New Brunswick, in particular, and many volunteer organizations. Records included in series were mainly generated by Jeesie Elizabeth Craise's work as an active member of many Presbyterian Church organizations such as the Woman's Missionary Society, Ladies' Aid, Sunday School, Mission Band, many at local, regional and national levels and some records of work with UNICEF, Canadian Bible Society, and Red Cross.

The series include: Rev. Alexander Craise series consists of sermons, correspondence, some records related to churches in which he served; Jessie Elizabeth Craise series, 1915-1994, containing correspondence, certificates, awards, financial papers, and records of her project to document the history of Presbyterian Churches in the Atlantic region; and, M. Helen Craise Beale series, 1963-1994, consists of certificates, awards, correspondence and writings related to her father and the history of St. Andrew's, Sackville.

This fonds consists of administrative records of the Saint John Unitarian Fellowship beginning in 1960. It includes minutes of regular and annual meetings, minutes of committee meetings, correspondence, annual reports, conference reports, notes, membership lists, newsletters, and pamphlets.

Much of the material relating to the history of the history of the congregations before 1933 was destroyed in a fire. Most of the surviving records date from 1949 and were found in 1990 in the balcony of the synagogue. Extensive records of correspondence, annual reports, minutes, financial records, and membership lists were among what was found. There is also a large section of information available on bat/bat mitzvah, marriage and burial records for the genealogist. The cemetery records are the most complete as a database of all burials in the Shaarei Zedek Cemetery was compiled between 1997 and 2011. Material on these lifecycle events generally comes from personal memorabilia and newspaper records. A section on Jewish traditions and holidays is appended to show how these have been observed in this community and elsewhere.

Records for the communities in Moncton and Fredericton are very limited and include information found in public records including newspapers.

This fonds consists of annual diaries, mostly written in printed diaries which provide a page for each day of the year. Lawrence makes brief notes of his daily activites, meetings, news of the day and ideas which have struck him. There are also some press clippings and historical notes.

This fonds documents the personal, religious and professional lives of Ezekiel McLeod, Joseph McLeod and to a minor extent, Joseph McLeod's sons, from 1849-1944. Contained in the fonds are Religious Intelligencer business records including ledgers, accounts and financial documentation. Also included are sermons, speeches and meditations, correspondence, documentation pertaining to the Royal Commission on The Liquor Traffic, 1892, Maritime Prohibition Minute book, 1900 - 1901, and material relating to temperance and prohibition. Formats are mostly original and include handwritten business records and notes, a booklet, newspapers, publications and typescripts.

The Mather Byles letterbooks are held as Volume 25 of the Winslow Family fonds. The five letterbooks contain holographic copies of letters written by Mather Byles to Edward Winslow during 1784-1786 when Byles was in Halifax and Saint John. Byles informs Winslow of events in Halifax as they occur and thanks Winslow for his support on both a financial and influential level.

This fonds contains the administrative records of Germain Street Baptist Church and of its groups and organizations. It consists of legal records (deeds, mortgages, bonds, wills, releases), membership lists, financial records (account book, 1882-1890; statements), and minutes of trustee meetings and congregational meetings.

Also included are marriage records of the Rev. Theldon S. Poole (1916-1946), records of burials (1916-1917), and Sunday school records (minutes of business meetings, membership rolls, annual reports). There are also copies of printed and published articles on the histories of Germain Street Baptist Church and Brussels Street Baptist Church, a souvenir programme of the 150th anniversary of the Germain Street church, a booklet or essay on a service of witness in Centenary United Church (Saint John), and images of the church organ.

The fonds consists of 9 volumes of minute books. The 5 volumes dated from 1897 to 1945 belonged to the United Women's Missionary Societies and the remaining 4 volumes (1945-1973) belonged to the Women's Inter-Church Council of Saint John.

Information about the structure of meetings, some names of members and missionaries and general missionary work is included. The Women's Inter-Church Council minutes include some financial reports, a type copy of the constitution and by-laws adopted in 1967, and some printed orders of church services and newsclippings relating to the annual World Day of Prayer. In volume 9, there are lists of executive members and denominational members of the Council from 1965-1973.
