This fonds consists of the correspondence and papers of William Parks and school notebooks and estate papers of Samuel Parks. There are leases, deeds, mortgages, accounts, correspondence and other material of the Parks family, 1824-1899, and militia and military records, 1861-1915. Also included are a financial statement of St. Stephen's Church for 1877 and receipts re St. John Presbyterian Church, 1843-1849, 1850-1861.

This fonds includes financial records of Magee Brothers as well as personal papers assembled by the family. There are Magee Bros. account books for dry goods, wharfage accounts, rents, storage, ships, 1875-1910, and ships' accounts for the ships "Arianna," "Buteshire," "City Camp," "Etta," "Stewart," "Governor Wilmot," "Hypatia," "New City," "St. Andrews," "St. George," "St. Patrick," "Sea Crest," "Z. Ring;" and share certificates owned by Magee Bros. and family. There are also family legal and land records, pedigree certificates and other agricultural material and records on family estates and wills. They include a will and indenture of Maria Julia (Merritt) Magee, 1896; records of the estate of John Buchanan Magee, 1940; and a notebook containing rent records, 1913-1918, 1923.
The family correspondence includes that of William Clarence Magee, 1866-1874; Frederick P. Magee regarding Saint John Hockey League, 1896-1899; Arthur Merrittt Magee during First World War; and certificates, ephemera and correspondence of Edith Marion Magee, 1907-1969. There are also typed copies of correspondence and other material of Norris family. Some accounts, of the St. John Fusiliers, 1901, are also included.

This fonds consists of a lot certificate for a burial plot in the Saint John Rural Cemetery, belonging to William Kennedy with notes of death dates of family members written on the back. There is also a pew rental certificate dating from the 1880s from Centenary Methodist Church belonging to William Kennedy. A freeman certificate belonging to Edward Kennedy, dated 1866, is also included.

There are business and personal correspondence, receipts, leases, and account books of Tilley and his wife.
Statistical information on: Saint John Post Office employees' salaries, 1866, 1872; ships built and registered in New Brunswick, 1863-1871; imports and exports for New Brunswick 1863-1871, all probably assembled as background information for Sir Leonard, is also included.

This fonds consists of seamen's wages account books, printed maps and notes. The seamen's wages account books are for the ship "Muskota", and provide Captain (J.E. Masters) and seamen's names, titles, wages, dates of engagement, and financial transactions. The books also provide tables for calculating seamen's wages. There are three maps which show the routes taken by ships under J.E. Masters command, including the "Berteaux".
Four loose pages from a memorandum book contain notes about the ship "Berteaux" and provide dates of departure and arrival from various ports. On the reverse side of the memorandum pages, there are notes of purchases and a list of worldwide contact addresses for Captain Masters. Most are shipping company addresses, including C.W. Berteaux, the firm that built and owned the "Muskota" and the "Berteaux".

This fonds consists of a minute book and business papers. The minute book contains the Charter of the company and the by-laws, as well as information about the operation of the company and the directors of W. Hawker & Sons, including that son Samuel was managing the firm by 1920 and William C. planned to return to the United States to resume his drugstore business in 1920. Business papers include a stock transfer, a trust agreement, certified copy of company by-laws dated 1926 as well as a brief historical sketch of the company from its founding to the reorganization in 1926. There are also three deeds, 1926, which relate to William C. Hawker and his share of the business.
