This fonds documents the personal and professional life of Frank Baird, particularly with respect to his activities as a writer and as a minister and administrator in the Presbyterian Church. It consists of personal correspondence, documents relating to his education, diaries (1928-1946) recording activities and appointments, copies of sermons (1908-1940), and copies of addresses he gave on a variety of themes (1906-1937).

The fonds also contains manuscript and typescript copies of his writings on historical, religious, and literary themes, as well as copies of his published monographs, "Parson John of the Labrador" (1924) and "Rob MacNab" (1923). Also included are copies of articles he collected on New Brunswick, New Brunswickers, and religious subjects, along with newspaper clippings, school textbooks, and a copy of his obituary which appeared in the September 1959 issue of "Presbyterian Record".

This fonds consists of an autograph album containing signatures and brief writings by several friends and classmates of George Bond, and a photograph card of the 1872 drawing of Mount Allison Wesleyan College and Academies, Sackville, New Brunswick, by Professor of Art, John Gray. The card was made by photographer J.R. Woodburn.

This fonds contains the administrative records of Germain Street Baptist Church and of its groups and organizations. It consists of legal records (deeds, mortgages, bonds, wills, releases), membership lists, financial records (account book, 1882-1890; statements), and minutes of trustee meetings and congregational meetings.

Also included are marriage records of the Rev. Theldon S. Poole (1916-1946), records of burials (1916-1917), and Sunday school records (minutes of business meetings, membership rolls, annual reports). There are also copies of printed and published articles on the histories of Germain Street Baptist Church and Brussels Street Baptist Church, a souvenir programme of the 150th anniversary of the Germain Street church, a booklet or essay on a service of witness in Centenary United Church (Saint John), and images of the church organ.

This collection contains a yearbook from 1953 for Horton Academy, a co-ed residential high school located in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. This school was founded in 1828 by members of Nova Scotia’s Baptist community, and became a high school in 1926 following the closure of the Acadia Ladies Seminary. The high school was ultimately closed in 1959 as it was deemed too costly to maintain.
