This painting is a part of the Grand Manan Historical Society Collection MG600. It was painted by Esther A. Oberg. Jane Cheney obtained it from Esther. Jane was Esther's hairdresser. Diane Cheney Cunningham obtained it from her mother Jane. Diane donated it the the Historical Society July 24, 2017.

Scope and content

This item is a painting of Dark Harbour on Grand Manan. The view is from the hill on the southern end looking down on the harbour in the fall. There are buildings on the seawall and gulls flying.
