This fonds documents the literary career of David Adams Richards. It includes personal documents; correspondence; and typescript drafts of novels, short stories, articles, plays, book reviews, and screen plays. The fonds also includes several photographs and floppy disks which primarily contain drafts of novels, screenplays, essays, and personal correspondence.

The fonds contains three letters relating to the Rev. James Souter's appointment to St. James Presbyterian Church in Newcastle, New Brunswick.

This fonds consists of microfilmed copies of parish registers for St. Patrick's Church, South Nelson, dating from 1801-1826 (F1749, F8108); 1826-1858 (F3); 1859-1906 (F7895), and 1959-1972 (F1224) which record baptisms, marriages, and burials.

Microfilm reel no. F3 also contains a history of St. Patrick's Church.

This fonds consists of the accounts of District no. 5 (Caraquet) which include receipts from tax assessments and expenditures on salaries and supplies. The accounts have been audited.
