Scope and content

A homemade scrapbook fashioned from coloured paper and filled with photographs, news clippings, and stickers. Most of the scrapbook's contents are newspaper clippings containing information on the community, such as marriages and deaths, as well as poetry.

Physical condition

This item is in poor condition. Although it was originally one whole scrapbook, it has been separated into five parts due to its binding being damaged.

Biographical Sketch: This item was created by Hazel Chetwood Creighton, who was born in July of 1910 in Saint John. No record of her death is available. She married in September of 1933. Several newspaper clippings referencing her parents, Herbert E. Creighton and Ella M. Creighton, are in her scrapbook.
