Ellen Molloy is the president of the Cody's Women's Institute. This Institute was founded in 1914 by a group of local woman. The woman assisted with the war effort in both the First and Second World Wars by sending soldiers care packages. In 2007, the ladies of the institute got together to publish a book of local war veterans who had served in the First and Second War.
