Title based on contents of the fonds.
Johann Adam Moscell (ca. 1785-1838) was a native of Mannheim, Germany. Educated at Heidelburg and probably ordained there, he came to Nova Scotia in 1817 to take charge of the German Reformed congregation (later St. Andrew's) at Lunenburg. He returned to Europe in 1837.
Published
The fonds consists of 5 documents in German, 1813-1817, that probably relate to Johann Moschell's vocation. One document, dated October 1817, is entitled, "Vocations instrument".
Early finding aids suggest that these records once formed part of the Bruno Comingoe fonds (F&I-046).
