This fonds consists of family and business correspondence, estate records, property deeds and other records. The records of Jonathan Odell include his poetry and literary correspondence, his sermons, general correspondence and accounts. There are also records of his church appointments and some notebooks.

The records of William F. Odell include his correspondence, appointments, some surveyors' notebooks and his accounts. Records of William H. Odell also include correspondence, appointments and accounts. There are also records of Benjamin Kent, the Hailes family, Elizabeth Baillie, Samuel Cooke, James Hunter, William Botsford, Alexander Ross and Hugh Johnston.

There are family deeds and grants and other records of property belonging to or managed by the family including property in Nova Scotia, the College lands (reserved for the building of the King's College, which became University of New Brunswick), Rookwood and the Hermitage. There is correspondence with the Fredericton Parks Association, 1886-1921 about setting up a public park (Odell Park) on land formerly owned by the family and records of properties owned by Jonathan Bliss.

This collection consists of correspondence, financial records, military records, and legal documents relating to the personal and official activities of Captain Nehemiah Marks, and his son Lieutenant Colonel Nehemiah Marks. Included records of early surveys and explorations of the lands near St. Stephen along the western branch of the St. Croix (Scoodiac) river; military records of the 4th Battalion Charlotte County Militia and the 97th Infantry Regiment; deeds and quitclaims for property in the town of St. Stephen (Morriston); and articles and books relating to the Loyalist settlement of St. Stephen, a history of Trinity Church, and Thomas Baillie.

Addition of deeds and maps from Charlotte and York County pertaining to Nehemiah Marks granting, plotting, and surveying land. These also include plans for future railroad ideas and plans for St. Stephen and surrounding areas, with some maps going further up New Brunswick and one heavily damaged map of Maine in 1837.

Freeman Hale Todd family fonds

This collection contains documents pertaining to Freeman Hale Todd's business ventures, including his logging and lumber business along the St Croix River Region, as well as his merchant and grocery businesses. These include account books, promissory notes, receipts and documents related to shipping as well as deeds, indentures, mortgages, assignments of land and insurance policies. There are also wills, family papers and matters relating to Probate that pertain to Freeman Hale Todd's estate after his death on 9 September 1885. Documents involving a co-partnership between Ninian Lindsay Todd and F. H. Todd & Sons are also included. Freeman Hale Todd's election address from when he was elected in 1865 as a candidate opposing the Confederation of New Brunswick with Canada also fall under the scope of this collection. There are also some documents related to his eldest son Frank Todd which include promissory notes, receipts, correspondences, and mortgages related to his business ventures and investments in Maine and New Brunswick.

Hannah Flood lot certificate

The fonds consists of a lot certificate given to Hannah Flood in 1837. It is for lot 35 in the southeast range in Willow Grove, Loch Lomond. The certificate was given by the body responsible for administration of Crown grants to the Black refugees. It is unclear whether Hannah Flood had actually purchased the land.
