This fonds is a daybook detailing Thomas Johnson's business transactions and activities from 6 January 1819 through 11 August 1826. He sold a variety of goods, including: pork, seed, corn, wheat, potatoes, timber, beans, cloth, buttons, pantaloons, codfish, beef, coffee, and newspapers. Johnson also took in letters to be delivered, and recorded the senders and sometimes the recipients. His patrons appear to be locals, and included: George Goodwin, Samuel G. Johnson, John Hawthorne, James Johnson, James Cainey, Edward Austin, Capt. Isaac Lilly, Rev. Freeman Parker, David Clancy, Capt. Jonathan A. Tupper, James Whitman, Julianne Saunders, Louisa Prescott, Jeremiah Goodwin, Benjamin Prescott, Samuel Bridge and Samuel White. Also found in the daybook are two loose sheets of typed paper that appear to be templates for contracts drawn up by the justice of the peace in 1830 and [183-].

This fonds contains personal correspondence between William Brydone Jack and his wives, Marian Ellen Peters and Caroline Disbrowe. In letters to Marian Jack mentions his astronomical work with Drs. J.B. Toldervy and James Robb. Also included are newspaper clippings and a sketchbook belonging to Blanche Jack, Dr. William Brydone Jack's daughter.

Fonds contains photographs and textual records pertaining to the descendants of Isaac Wry, which were handed down to and kept by his great granddaughter, Pauline Mary (Alward) Spatz. Most of the content refers to Pauline, her parents John Bunyan and Mabel Lena (Wry) Alward, and her grandparents John Willard and Jennie Grace (Snowdon) Wry, as well as other close relatives. The records listed here were part of a donation that also included a number artifacts.

Fonds is divided into four sousfonds which are further divided into relevant series. All content has been arranged chronologically.

Ce fonds est composé de : certificat de baptême, 1921 ; notes généalogiques, 2000 ; photos, [ca 187?]-1946. Ce fonds concerne spécifiquement la famille et les descendants de Marin Gallant et Suzanne Poirier [mariés le 6 mai 1856] de Grande-Digue, Nouveau-Brunswick. Les notes généalogiques compilées par Eunice Gallant-Errara de Jamestown, Rhode Islands nous montrent sous forme de tableaux sa généalogie et les mouvements géographiques de ses ancêtres vers les États-Unis à la fin du XIXe siècle. Plusieurs photos [dont 4 ferotypes] touchent aux membres des familles Gallant et Poirier aux États-Unis ainsi qu'à Grande-Digue en 1946 lors d'un voyage auprès de parents demeurés au Canada.
