LtCol Eaton

This series consists of a copy of LtCol Eaton's Order of the British Empire and Distinguished Service Award and several photographs of Eaton. LtCol Eaton commanded the 8th Princess Louise's New Brunswick Hussars from late 1944-1945. He took the regiment through their final action in Italy. He would take the regiment to North-West Europe where they fought through the Liberation of the Netherlands.

Promotion Scroll

This series consists of a promotion scroll. In 1921 William Stegmann, at Military District No. 7 Saint John, New Brunswick, was promoted to Sergeant Major under the authority of the Deputy Minister of Militia.

Christmas Cards

This series consists of Christmas Cards from Canadian Regiments to the 8th Canadian Hussars (PL). Regiments include, but are not limited to: the British Columbia Regiment, 436 Transport Squadron, Brigadier-General Worthington, Armour School Training Centre, Royal Canadian Horse Artillery, South Alberta Light Horse, Royal Canadian Dragoons, Royal 22 Regiment, Prince Edward Island Regiment, etc.

Book of Remembrance

This series consists of an early version of the Museum's Book of Remembrance. It chronicles all the Hussars killed in service to Canada. It starts with the Second World War and goes through to the deaths of several peacekeepers.

This subseries consists of LtCol Eaton being briefed by Divisional Command and a portrait of Eaton.

Roll of Honour

This series consists of the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps Roll of Honour for the Second World War. It lists all the casualties suffered by the Armoured Corps during the course of the War.
