This fonds reflects W. Sterry-Cooper's work as an author and researcher, particularly with respect to his study of Edward Winslow and the Mayflower Pilgrims. It also documents his activities in connection with the planning, holding or commissioning of commemorative plaques, church services, and other public events to honour Edward Winslow and the Pilgrims of 1620.

It includes incoming and outgoing correspondence; research notes; drafts of essays, articles, book chapters, and sermons; and transcripts of 17th century documents and printed material. The fonds also contains a number of printed pamphlets and leaflets relating to Winslow history and Winslow memorials; hand-drawn maps of Colonial America, probably by Sterry-Cooper; professional drawings of memorial plaques honouring Edward Winslow; and photographs, including those of the Winslow farmhouse (Kempsey) and of Edward Winslow's portrait.

Ezekiel Stone Wiggins and Susan Wiggins

This fonds documents the personal and public activities of E. Stone Wiggins and his wife Susie Wiggins. It consists of original material and includes correspondence with Lord Dufferin, Sir Leonard Tilley, Lord Lisgar, F. McLaughlin or their agents, a published copy of Universalism Unfounded written by E. Stone Wiggins (1867), a fee book for the Church of England Boys' College at Saint John (1875), an historical sketch of Samuel Leonard Tilley's family(1879) and a record of government reports sent to Queens County by E. Stone Wiggins (1879). Also included are the Gunhilda letters written by Susie Wiggins and published in 1881, daily journals and notebooks written by members of the Wiggins family, scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings, certificates and testimonials, and a geographical essay written by Wiggins in 1884. Fifteen mounted sepia photographs of prominent Canadians are also contained in this fonds.

This fonds contains mostly correspondence, articles, newspaper clippings, and exhibition catalogues relating to Pegi Nicol MacLeod, Canadian artist and long-time friend of Madge Smith. This fonds also contains 70 photographs taken by Smith during the late 1930s. Subjects of these photographs include places, such as the Fredericton Golf Course and the Oromocto Flats; winter scenes; and animals, such as horses and cats.

It also includes financial records, genealogical and biographical information, speeches, and notes. It includes photocopies of correspondence with literary figures, including Elizabeth Brewster, Irving Layton, Dorothy Livesay, and Miriam Waddington and between Lorne Pierce and Frederick Philip Grove.

This fonds documents the literary career of poet and prose writer Charles G.D. Roberts, which spanned more than six decades. It also reflects his activities both as an editor and a promoter of Canadian literature and Canadian writers. In addition, the fonds sheds light on his family life, his travels abroad, his years in the British and Canadian armies, his work with the Canadian Authors' Association, his financial difficulties, and his personal relationships. It also provides information about the literary careers of other members of the Roberts family, most notably, Theodore Goodridge Roberts and Lloyd Roberts.

It contains correspondence, a family scrapbook, Roberts's notebook, and holograph and typescript poems, stories and essays by Roberts, Bliss Carman and other writers. The fonds also includes copies of published poems, essays and stories by Charles G.D. Roberts, Bliss Carman, Theodore Goodridge Roberts, Lloyd Roberts, and Dorothy Roberts Leisner as well as published articles about Charles G.D. Roberts and other members of the Roberts family.

This fonds, which consists largely of holographs and typescripts of manuscripts in various genre, documents Louis Arthur Cunningham's long and successful career as a popular writer. The fonds also includes print copies of many of his works, especially the short stories.

There is supporting documentation for his literary activities such as correspondence with publishers, legal agreements, and notebooks documenting dates and prices paid as manuscripts were sent to publishers. After his death, there are similar records kept by his widow as she continued to try to sell his work.

There are a few personal and biographical items such as newspaper clippings about Louis Arthur Cunningham, a few photographs and personal documents such as birth and marriage certificates and university diplomas.
