This fonds contains a rough account book for John Falconer's mercantile business, dating from January 1865 to February 1865. The record book contains entries of business transactions and the dates of the transactions. Presumably, these entries were to be posted to another account book.

The writers express concerns about young women embarking on a career in teaching and comment upon a ten day's trip to the interior of Norway as well as a voyage from Rimouski (Quebec) to Calcutta via Liverpool.

Subjects of these photographs include places, such as the Fredericton Golf Course and the Oromocto Flats; winter scenes; and animals, such as horses and cats.
