The Woodbridge Collection is very diverse, and dates from 1900 to 1955. A large part of it is comprised of military material, which includes Woodbridge's commissions and certificates, military correspondence and official forms, ledgers, returns and schedules. Also in the collection are items, which reflect aspects of Woodbridge's personal life: correspondence, poetry, greeting cards, programmes, photographs, clippings, and maps.

The records consists of two diaries while he was with the 7th Hussara, along with a history of the regiment. Also there are two accounting books when he became the Earl of Ashburnham and photos, clippings and personal affects while the Ashburnhams were in Fredericton.

Lawson Family Postcards

A collection of postcards sent to Alice Eliza Lawson from various family members. The cards are arranged by year, then by month, then by day. Alice Eliza Lawson lived in Sunbury County. These cards were (save a few) sent to her from various other parts of the province, mainly from Saint John. Several cards are from Manitoba, Maine, Florida, and Vermont.

Alice Eliza Lawson (nee Stephen) was born on 6 July 1868 in Gloucester England to Andrew J Stephen and Eliza Layton. She moved to Canada with her family when she was 3 (circa 1871.) Several of her siblings were born in Canada. On 20 June 1888, she married Brunswick Arthur Lawson. They had four children, Andrew William (1889-1916) George Brunswick (1892-1916) Alice Eliza (1896-1970) Lucinda Bella (1901-1974), and Mary Delphina Florence (1908-2002.) Her sons, Andrew and George died months apart in Europe during the First World War. Alice died on 20 June 1933, the 45th anniversary of her marriage to Brunswick, who outlived her, passing on 10 October 1942.

This collection includes 89 correspondence letters mostly incoming, 8 receipts, 3 vote count sheets and miscellaneous papers. The correspondence letters mainly have to do with Dr. Morehouses involvement in the county, local parishes, church and then his time in the legislature as a member of the conservative party. The political letters often involve the recommendation of others, the use of influence Dr. Morehouse or the other person may have, and upkeep of the county including roads, mines, and churches. There are many letters from notable partners, synod members and political members at the time including James Pinder, Oswald Crocket, W.T. Whitehead, W.O. Raymond, J.D. Hazen, H.F. McLeod, M.M. Morrissy, R.B. Hanson, P.A. Guthrie, J.H.A.L. Fairweather, H.W. Woods, J.A. Murray, George Clark and others. The receipts are mainly religious in nature made out for missions, church and lay readings. One receipt is for a subscription to a newspaper and another is for services rendered.
