This is a collection of personal correspondence from Desmond Pacey to Margaret and/or T.J. Hicks. Largely it consists of personal news about general activities and family life. It includes some Christmas cards with photographs of the Pacey Family, cards by Mary Pacey and newspaper clippings about Desmond Pacey.

This fonds documents various aspects of Malcolm MacKenzie Ross's literary and scholarly activities. It includes originals and copies of correspondence, invitations, newspaper clippings, copies of citations, copies of speeches and addresses (delivered by Ross), and copies of published articles and reviews (by Ross). The fonds also includes published articles about Ross and reviews of his work as well as biographical information.

This fonds consists of 2 autobiographical manuscripts written by Ernest L. Flewelling: "Summary of the Life and Times of Ernest L. Flewelling, B.A., B.Ed.," (2 copies) -- copy 1 ( 21 pp.) and copy 2 ( 24 pp.). The genealogical material in these manuscripts differ as well as the introductions and; "E. & L. Flewelling Scholarships for Vocational Research," (11 pp.) It includes a discussion of E. L. Flewelling's educational philosophy.

This fonds includes Saint John City and Municipality records, 1962-1965 and briefs and petitions regarding the Parish of Simonds, College Development Corporation, Rural Municipalities Assoc., 1961-1966. Personal material of Whitebone includes a copy of a Breton-English dictionary he wrote and papers by Whitebone on "The state and the common good" and "Cornwall".

Fonds consists of records generated by Smith as teacher, traveler and lecturer.

Files contain travel documents; account books concerning prices in Russia, 1932; draft lecture notes on the history of Canada; public lecture notices and programs for Smith's presentations; scrapbook of press notices and clippings concerning her public lectures; postcards collected in travels and used to illustrate lectures; certificates; diplomas; letters of recommendation; photographs of Oxford University "first women's degree day" 14 October 1920, Women's Council parade, Sackville, New Brunswick, Mount Allison campus scenes; painting "Tantramar Marshes" by Stanley Royle; letter from Elizabeth Brewster, 1969; letters from Smith to family (mainly Helen Smith Skinner) and friends concerning Northern Spain during the time of the Spanish Civil War [1936?].

Fonds consists of Montessori student and teacher notebooks on sewing and colour lessons, and a kindergarten album containing examples of paper cutting, paper folding, embossing, plaiting, sewing, and interlacing; a textbook for needlework, knitting and cutting out; photographs of Elizabeth Paterson and family, Teacher Training College class, colleagues, and housing in South Africa; and 2 postcards.

This fonds consists largely of the records kept during the time that Baird was a senator, including correspondence about patronage and other political matters. Subjects include Victoria Telephone company, railways, bridges, ferries, and roads, and land transactions. There is correspondence about Indian Reservation and lumbering, including contracts and crown timber licenses.

The fonds also includes material related to the John J. Kupkey estate and the Beveridge, Cameron estates. There are minutes of Liberal-Conservative Association, 1895, the Perth Sabbath School Register, 1877, and accounts of the Baird General Store at Perth, 1877, 1881, 1885 and for Victoria Co. Telephone Co., 1903.

This fonds documents the academic and literary career of W. C. Desmond Pacey as well as his work as a university administrator. It also documents aspects of his personal life. The fonds contains personal, family, and general correspondence; literary manuscripts and typescripts; copies of journal articles; newspaper clippings; lecture notes; programmes; photographs; reports and scrapbooks. It also includes financial records, genealogical and biographical information, speeches, and notes. It includes photocopies of correspondence with literary figures, including Elizabeth Brewster, Irving Layton, Dorothy Livesay, and Miriam Waddington and between Lorne Pierce and Frederick Philip Grove.

The fonds consists primarily of correspondence and applications for the Lord Beaverbrook scholarships. There are also minutes of the scholarship committee from 1920-1944 and a card index.

This fonds documents the academic activities of philosophy professor Leo Ferrari, particularly with respect to his studies of 5th-century bishop, philosopher and doctor of the church Augustine of Hippo. It also documents his activities as president and primary spokesperson for The Flat Earth Society (FES), an organization founded to encourage critical thinking and restore confidence in the validity of the senses. In addition, this fonds reflects Ferrari's interest in human rights issues.

It includes incoming and outgoing correspondence, notes, research material, draft and published copies of books and articles, bibliographies, and conference programmes. In connection with The Flat Earth Society, it includes letters from applicants, membership lists, tractates, photographs, copies of The Official Chronicle and The Official Organ, cartoons, newspaper clippings, brochures, and financial records. It also contains a reel-to-reel audio tape of Ferrari speaking about the FES and a VHS videotape entitled "In Search of the Edge". Artifacts include a smashed globe, maps of the world in various shapes, framed membership certificates, and a wooden gnome holding the sign "Repent! the Edge is Nigh".
