This collection contains an invoice to Taylor and Thompson from R. Chestnut and Sons dated 1884. On the reverse is a detailed description with specifications for a new river steamship, dated 14 November 1896, which George F. Baird planned to build for the Star line. There is also a 3-page account for the estate of Herbert Morgan dated 1922.

The collection consists of a day book / account book (1905-1932) for the Riley Brook Camp(s), possibly under the management of Charles L. Barker in 1905. It records payments for upkeep, wages, and other expenses and income received from patrons. The collection also includes an address book, dated 1 January 1912, probably relating to patrons of the camp; a listing of beneficiaries of Independent Order of Foresters at Riley Brook (1903-1912); a listing of members of a subordinate court at Tobique; 3 deeds and a will relating to the family of James and Adelaide Burns; and 2 pamphlets advertising the camps.

This fonds consists of correspondence, records of commissions and appointments and accounting records pertaining to the Hatch family of Charlotte County, New Brunswick. The correspondence contains references to the war of 1812, the St. Andrews and Québec Railway, and the trading patterns of New Brunswick. There are several letters by David Owen about his affairs on Campobello Island.
With the exception of an account book of Christopher Hatch's affairs on Campobello Island, the bulk of the records belonged to Harris Hatch and his son. Records dated after 1894 concern the estate of Harris H. Hatch and his executor, Edmund Coakley.
