The fonds documents the professional legal career of G. Earle Logan from 1923-1948. It consists of case files that include correspondence and legal documents pertaining to divorce, bankruptcy, the settling of estates, the collection of debts, adoptions, property transactions, and civil suits.

Also included are records relating to the Royal Canadian Legion, the New Brunswick Board of Commissioners of Public Utilities, the Wartime Prices and Trade Board, and personal and family matters.

Chase's certificate of discharge as a private from Captain Witherell's Company D., 1st Regiment of Maine Veteran Volunteers (Union Army) and an Augusta Savings Bank deposit book issued to Mary E. Fenimore / Mary E. McCabe, 1893. The relationship, if any, between these two individuals is unknown.

This fonds consists of 5 diaries kept by Ann Eliza Rogers Gallacher Moore, from 1852-1876 and from 1890-1896 inclusive. The diaries record the activities of her family and friends, as well as local, provincial, and national events.

In particular, she notes births, deaths, marriages, church meetings, and social gatherings and comments on such events as federal elections, the earthquake of 1885, and outbreaks of consumption and cholera in the 1850s. Her entries for the 1860s deal with the Gallacher family's life in Boston and Philadelphia, and she makes particular mention of natives of Hopewell, Albert County, N.B., who were residing there. As well she comments on activities pertaining to the American Civil War.

Maritime D-Day Officers' Association

The fonds consists primarily of material relating to the annual commemorative dinner held by the Maritime D-Day Officers' Association on 6 June. It includes correspondence, telegrams, membership lists, minutes of meetings, agendas, menus, press clippings and a few photographs. Most of the correspondence pertains to the dinner, namely, invitations setting out the place and time of the gathering and replies from association members. Included are a few letters from representatives of the D-Day (Normandy) Society and the North Shore Regiment Veterans Association which shed light on their activities. Several group photographs of members of the Maritime Association are also included.

104th Anti-tank Battery, 7th Anti-Tank Regiment RCA collection

This fonds consists primarily of histories of the 104th Anti-Tank Battery and the 7th Anti-Tank Regiment Royal Canadian Artillery and supporting materials. Included are a printed history of the 7th Anti-Tank Regiment, a photocopied history of the 104th Battery dating to 1945, and photocopied listings of officers and other ranks, along with the names of fatal casualties, their dates of death, and the names of those wounded in action.

Also included is a b&w group photograph of the 104th Anti-Tank Battery (1940), a colour photograph of the formation flashes and other distinguishing insignia of the Canadian Army [after 1939], colour negatives of the 104th Battery at the Experimental Station (Fredericton), and colour negatives of shoulder flashes of the Canadian Military.

Muriel Edwards letter

This letter is representative of hundreds of such thank-you letters written by Canadian soldiers serving overseas during the First World War to New Brunswick school children. Here Staff Sargeant V. A. Giles, of the 1st Canadian Division, thanks Muriel Edwards, then a girl of 11-years-old, for her letter and an "awfully nice bag of candy" he received in the post. He comments that "you cannot tell what great pleasure it gave all the Canadian Soldiers to receive them and knowing that all our dear little Girls at home are working for us."
