There are minute books ; certificate ; Home and School Calendar, year unknown ; a writing done about the first Grand Manan High School (1949) as dreamed of by Home and School 1939 ; News clippings for Home and School activities for Castalia, Woodwards Cove, and North Head Home and School Associations 1956 - 1975, 1997.

This file contains what history we have of the early kindergarten operating on Grand Manan 1984-86. Kindergarten continued at the Boy and Girls Club until 2001 when the school was renovated and kindergarten became a part of the Grand Manan Community School.

This collection contains the records of Night School courses held on Grand Manan in the 1960's and then again in the 1980's.
From the 1960's, there are large index cards from Evening Vocational Schools of New Brunswick detailing classes, students and attendance, and curriculum taught. Poster advertising Night Classes - 1987, 1989, news clipping the Welding Course attendees, 1987.

This collection contains publications created by Grand Manan School students and staff. There are newspapers and small books. Many local events are recorded in these papers. There are unused certificates showing what awards were issued as time progressed.

This fonds consists of deeds dated 1866 and correspondence, dated 1876, 1931, 1952, and 1976, about the operation of the Public Hall and its transfer to the village of North Head. The Minute Book contains names of members and positions held from 1909 - 1976 with the final recording being the turning over of the building to the Village of North Head for a Village Hall.

Grand Manan School Registers Collection 1892-1986

This collection contains the attendance registers from 1892 - 1986 for schools on Grand Manan and surrounding Islands. Series of registers for the smaller community schools cease as the schools were closed. Not all registers for all schools are here. The registers record student names, attendance, grades, and occasional comments by teachers.
There are registers from the following villages: District #1 North Head, beginning 1907; District #2 Castalia, beginning 1919; District #3 Woodward’s Cove, beginning 1923; District #4 Grand Harbour, beginning 1892; District #5 Seal Cove, beginning 1934; District #6 White Head, beginning 1923; District #7 Wood Island, beginning 1929; and District #9 Deep Cove, beginning 1926. There are missing registers so the collection is not complete. District #8 is Chaney's Island we have no registers from this district.

The contents include: correspondence ; invoices in alphabetical order, with catalogues and advertising and ledgers from suppliers ; day books and journals in chronological order ; Telegrams in alphabetical order by local resident name 1916-1929 ; Registered letter ledger for Seal Cove Post Office 1911-1914 ; Journal for recording telephone calls 1953-1954 ; and original fish can labels two different types.
