Fonds consists of copies of biographical sketches, obituaries, correspondence, and excerpts from publications related to the life and work of Irwin Cameron Mackie, Director of Metallurgy and Research, Dominion Steel & Coal Corporation, Sydney, Nova Scotia; a portrait photograph of I.C. Mackie; and a published copy of "Memorandum re: The Mackie Process for Retarded Cooling of Steel Rails," September 1935, compiled by Max Hickey. The material documents Mr. Mackie's significant research and discovery resulting in the manufacturing of top quality steel rails, and refutes claims made by others regarding this important discovery.

This fonds consists of an autograph album containing signatures and brief writings by several friends and classmates of George Bond, and a photograph card of the 1872 drawing of Mount Allison Wesleyan College and Academies, Sackville, New Brunswick, by Professor of Art, John Gray. The card was made by photographer J.R. Woodburn.

Fonds consist of a photocopy of a notebook containing early entries (1801-1814) for record of payment for subscriptions to the Methodist Church, record of payment to those working on the marsh dykes, and sketches of farm equipment with instructions. The remainder of the notebook contains John Fawcett's notes (original actual letters?) dated August 1835 and August 1836, relating early Sackville Methodist Church history from 1788, and his evaluation and criticisms concerning the Upper and Lower Sackville Methodist Churches.

Hiram Copp

Fonds consists of two letters to Hiram Copp, Sackville, New Brunswick, from James Robert Inch, Superintendent of Education, Province of New Brunswick, Fredericton, New Brunswick, regarding instructions for building a double house on Salem Street in Sackville. The letters are dated July 24 and August 1, 1893. They document the origin of a house owned by Mount Allison University since 1966, now called the French House. They also identify the residence of J.R. Inch, a former president of Mount Allison, who returned to Sackville to live after his retirement in 1909.
