This report was prepared for Lieutenant-Governor Arthur Hamilton Gordon by Lieutenant-Colonel J.A. Inches on 24 May 1866. It discusses in detail the activities of the Fenians in the Calais, Maine, and St. Stephen, New Brunswick, on 23 and 24 May 1866.

This fonds contains the minute book of the St. John Pilot's Club for 1895-1897. There is also a scrapbook of press clippings about an inquiry into pilotage dues in the port of Saint John in 1895. The inquiry was held before Captain Smith and Captain Douglas.

This fonds consists of the YMCA constitution, 1867, and annual reports for 1879 and 1890. There is also a catalogue of the Antiquarian and Natural History Loan exhibit, sponsored by the YMCA in 1899.

The fonds consists of a minute book, 1894-1901, containing lists of active members with some addresses. Names are listed by vocal range such as sopranos and altos and also by year. There is information about musical performances with dates and locations and the names of the executive. A few programmes, printed annual reports and a small number of accounts are included.

The fonds consists of minutes of the St. Patrick's Society, 1910-1911. The minutes include information about the re-establishment of the Society, the executive and Board of Management members. There is a listing of charter members of the reorganized Society. There is also some information on membership dues. A written constitution and by-laws are also included.

This fonds consists of membership lists, correspondence, a report, a map of plots, postcards and printed ephemera. The membership lists are categorized by size of plot, area cultivated, and lots wanted. The typed report, dated February 1919, includes statistics on membership by category but is incomplete. A map of plots on Hawthorne Avenue is included.
There is correspondence with seed companies, and citizens requesting vegetable seeds. Correspondence from the Department of Agriculture, Office of the Food Controller, and the Canadian Government Seed Purchasing Commission is included as are letters from the Experimental Farm at Fredericton, N.B. and the Motor Vehicle Board. Included too are invoices for equipment and supplies.

Fonds consists of bylaws and a scrapbook. The by-laws provide information about the structure of this organization. The scrapbook is dated 1932 and contains a few newsclippings and a letter about the 1932 Dahlia Show at the Saint John Exhibition. There are also some exhibitors' cards and an entry form for the 1933 show.
