This volume contains three hand-written sermons based on the 8th, 9th and 10th Commandments. There is a note that one was preached at the consecration of the St. John Church. The name of the place where the church was located has not been deciphered.

The Mather Byles letterbooks are held as Volume 25 of the Winslow Family fonds. The five letterbooks contain holographic copies of letters written by Mather Byles to Edward Winslow during 1784-1786 when Byles was in Halifax and Saint John. Byles informs Winslow of events in Halifax as they occur and thanks Winslow for his support on both a financial and influential level.

This fonds contains the records created by the organizations and clergy of the Diocese of Fredericton - including the Bishops, the Diocesan Synod and its predecessor, the Diocesan Church Society, the Deaneries, the Cathedral and the Parishes.
However, it is the latter, the Parishes, which have generated the bulk of the records contained herein. Records produced by the Parishes include the Parish Registers (of Baptisms, Marriages, Burials and Confirmations), records of the Corporation (Vestry), statistical Registers of Services (now called Vestry Books), correspondence and financial records, land deeds and consecration and other legal records, parish histories, photographs etc. Any Parish's records may include some or all of the above and more.

This fonds consists of the will of Benjamin Barker, 1800, and 3 deeds for family property in York and Sunbury counties, 1779-1796.

This fonds consists of a printed class book distributed by Methodist societies for the instruction of class leaders in Sunday school class. The middle section contains printed forms. The register lists students in classes with note of their financial contribution.

Fonds consists of a book of sermons, which includes 12 sermons, 1836-1839; a journal, inscribed “Journal commencing May 1837, ending May 1840", which actually begins with his arrival in Falmouth, 19 April 1837; and a journal, inscribed "Journal, Halifax & Windsor, commencing 17 Oct. 1842 - May 1846", which actually ends July 1846.
