One of the books was used at the Surgical Hospital, Brookline, Massachusetts (USA) between 1901-1903. Inside cover notes "E.L. Ingersoll, McLean Hospital, Waverly, Mass.", "Eunice Ingersoll, McLean Hospital Oct 1901 & 1902, Lectures by Dr. Tuttle" and "Eunice L. Ingersoll, Surgical Hospital, Brookline, Mass."

Item consists of one map titled "The Anna Buchanan Charles Memorial Map of Grand Manan, by son Buchannan Charles, 1939 with Grand Manan Historical Society Board Members printed on reverse." This geographical map of Grand Manan Island, NB is a color print with white land areas in black print with a blue ocean. On the reverse is printed the Directors of the Historical Society, herring weirs names that were around the island, and a memorial to Anna Buchannan Charles. This map was created and sold as a fundraiser for the Society.

This fonds consists of two medical journals--one containing records kept during his medical practice (14 April 1884 - 29 May 1892), the other recording daily transactions (1 October 1887 - 1 April 1892), a scrapbook containing photographs, loose photographs, and glass negatives. It also contains a biography file containing photocopies of newspaper stories and photos of Dr. George Noyes, and a handmade scrapbook by his son Benjamin L. Noyes entitled "Historical & Scenic Volume, Grand Manan Island, Charlotte County, N.B."
