Item is a photograph of Jennie Grace (Snowdon) Wry [extreme left] shown with her two sisters, Maggie Snowdon and Eva (Snowdon) Johnson, and her mother, Susan Snowdon [seated]. Picture was taken in front of J. Willard Wry’s house on Wry Lane, located across the street from his father Isaac Wry’s house.
Items are papers from the provincial Department of Public Works titled, “Statement of expenditure on Roads, Ordinary”. Willard Wry was listed as the commissioner on the form, and the type of work was listed as “dyking”. Three identical blank forms are also included.
These articles on WW1 are pasted in an old ship's log book of the 1880's-probably of Captain Solomon Davis, great-grandfather of the "paster"-J.V. Keirstead, Hampton, N.B.
