This fonds mainly consists of materials related to John Louis Carleton's activities as an amateur playwright. The fonds includes correspondence between J. L. Carleton and Cornhill Publishing Co., newspaper clippings, show programs, and manuscripts of the following plays: "The Medieval Hun," "Lores Defender," "The Dungarvans," "Oh How Delightful," "The Crimson Wing," "The O'Mahoney," "The Middogue," "The Lord of Cashel," "The Purple Testament," "Ready, Aye Ready," and an untitled play.

Mabel Eliza Lewin

This fonds documents Mabel Lewin's service as a nurse during the First World War. The fonds contains correspondence between Lewin and wounded WWI soldiers who were in her care, postcards of locations she served and of places where the soldiers she corresponded with served in Europe, and snapshots taken of nurses and officers whom Lewin met and served with. There are also magazines and newspapers dated 1937-1951.

There is also correpondence about Fisher's death; a 1925 letter regarding Fisher's decoration received by Mildred Fisher; and a book, The War Graves of the British Empire, containing brief biographical information on Arthur Fisher.

Also included are dates of marriages, deaths, and births. Fonds also contains photographs, dated late 1800s to 1915, of unidentified individuals and a certificate of marriage between Benjamin Henry Smith and Helen Ella Connell, Henry Eric Connell Smith's baptism, and Helen Ella Connell's birth certificate.
