This fonds contains administrative documents for the Charlotte County branch of the John Howard Society, as well as documents from meetings. Also included are pieces of correspondence with other branches and organizations, educational materials related to the society's mission, and materials for prisoners.

Fonds consists of newspaper clippings, a calendar, interview notes and a photocopy of "The Story of 'B.P.'" by William Hill Court.

This collection contains announcements, newspaper clippings, and brochures describing projects of the Grand Manan Rotary Club. A list of projects for 1997 is included in box one, file 5.

This fonds consists of photocopies of the original minute book of the Grand Harbour Branch, New Brunswick Women's Institute. The group began by discussing recipes and moved on to sidewalks, street lights, park improvements, cemetery improvements, a public hall, and a public library. Park improvements, cemeteries, schools, knitting, and quilting committees were soon organized and members reported on those activities at each meeting. These projects were set aside as the war began and reports on war efforts in support of soldiers began. The group met in the Newton's Store in Grand Harbour. There is a reference in the minutes of 1914 that a branch of the organization was also functioning at Seal Cove.

This fonds includes the Club's Rules and Regulations, information on and results of challenge races and sailings for the years 1895; 1897; 1898; and 1899. Racing reports, names of boats and owners listed, and minutes of meetings are included as well as letters of resignation to the club over disciplinary conduct and disqualification of boats.

This fonds consists of records created in opening and operating the Grand Manan Museum. Included are construction files, opening and maintenance files, minutes of meetings, annual reports, architectural plans, and correspondence about displays and loans for early exhibits.

This fonds consists of minutes, notices, bank records, and correspondence created by the Grand Manan Board of Trade in the course of its business activities, 1927, 1944-1989.

This fonds consists of a minute book which contains minutes of meetings of the Maternal Association of Milltown St. Stephen, as well as lists of members and their children and a copy of the constitution.

A number of pages have been removed from the book. The final entry, dated 1879, concerns the death of an unnamed woman.

These items contain financial information on the day to day activities of this group, as well as meeting minutes and annual reports, all of which provide a detailed look at the activities this branch organization has undertaken over the years. Also included are documents related to C. W. L. anniversary events.
