Acheson, which discusses an economic transition which occurred in the Maritimes during the late 1800s.

104th Anti-tank Battery, 7th Anti-Tank Regiment RCA collection

This fonds consists primarily of histories of the 104th Anti-Tank Battery and the 7th Anti-Tank Regiment Royal Canadian Artillery and supporting materials. Included are a printed history of the 7th Anti-Tank Regiment, a photocopied history of the 104th Battery dating to 1945, and photocopied listings of officers and other ranks, along with the names of fatal casualties, their dates of death, and the names of those wounded in action.

Also included is a b&w group photograph of the 104th Anti-Tank Battery (1940), a colour photograph of the formation flashes and other distinguishing insignia of the Canadian Army [after 1939], colour negatives of the 104th Battery at the Experimental Station (Fredericton), and colour negatives of shoulder flashes of the Canadian Military.

Edgar R. Jamieson family fonds

This fonds consists primarily of records pertaining to Edgar R. Jamieson's World War II activities and the Jamieson family history. There are also letters addressed to Blanche Jamieson from Edgar Jamieson, sent while he was serving overseas with the Canadian Army.

Edgar R. Jamieson's World War II records include his Canadian Army Clothing and Equipment Statement, [1943]; Canadian Militia Soldier's Pay Books, 1939-1945; Canadian Army Soldier's Pay Books, 1940-1945; two C.S.M. Nominal Roll Books for A. Company, Carleton and York Regiment that record the names of soldiers, their service numbers, and notes concerning their service (killed, wounded, evacuated, missing etc.), 1940s; and a map of the West End of London, [1940s?].

Blanche Jamieson's records consist of 52 letters sent to her by her brother, Edgar, that shed light on his wartime activities. The letters were sent from Woodstock, Halifax, aboard ship, England, France, and Italy. Transcriptions of these letters are also included in the fonds.

Jamieson family genealogy records consist of a 2 pp. family tree and copies of printed family histories entitled, "Descendants of John Jamieson" (25 pp.); "Descendants of Unknown Hamilton" (9 pp.); and "Descendants of George Blaney" (25 pp.).

Lastly the fonds consists of a World War I "Souvenir from France" -- a stitched post card containing a note written to Lillian from Steven L. Sloan, France, 15 July 1918, and a transcription of a letter written by James H. Blaney to his mother, July 31, 1859.

Programs and promotional material for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth and King George in 1937, as well as the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. Included are a program for a coronation ball at the Algonquin Hotel in St. Andrews, a promotional coronation Union Jack from Red River Cereal which shows how the Union Jack was formed, a program for a coronation service in St. Stephen, and a souvenir program for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II which contains royal portraits, information on the history of coronation events, the story of Elizabeth II, a map of her procession during the coronation, a genealogy of the Royal Family, and details on the coronation ceremony.

Royal Canadian Legion Fonds

The fonds consists of two separate branches, Passamaqoddy and St. Croix. The former containing mostly Ladies Auxiliary with accounting history, memberships, and costs, and surrender of their charters and rights in 2018. The latter consists of meeting minutes of all sub-branches and memberships. Some reference to the Great War Veterans Association, a predecessor to the Royal Canadian Legion with a partial history of the branch since it’s founding. Further sub-branches covered by or in relation to the St. Croix branch is included, such as Beavers, Scouts, Ladies, Sr., and Jr. Auxiliary.
