This fonds consists of documents related to Jeremiah M. Connell's activities as a land owner in Carleton County. There are land grants, J.M. Connell's probate, and an estate list which contains information on real estate and bank and farm stock owned by J.M. Connell. It also lists names of those indebted to J.M. Connell through bonds and mortgages. Fonds also contains records of these bonds, mortgages, and deeds, and J.M. Connell's account information.
Fonds consists of 3 photographs: (1) Ladies' College students in front of the Ladies' College Buildings; (2) Ladies' College students in and around a tree, one identified as Jewel Murray; (3) Jewel Murray[?] in gym outfit on the fire-escape of Allison Hall.
Fonds relates to Job Anderson and his blacksmith shop. Fonds contains one volume of early accounting records. This ledger appears to have been used by at least two different people, conducting two different types of business in and around Sackville, New Brunswick. The ledger dates to 1893 and is possibly the account book of Blacksmith Job Anderson because he wrote that the account had been paid in full on 7 January 1904. The second set of entries in the ledger began in 1908 and does not specify blacksmithing. The unidentified record keeper has entered, in daybook style, all expenditures and receipts for work he completed, items he purchased, and payments he received. The entries indicate a farm operation and continue until 1933. There are other accounting records, including some expenses and ledger entries from 1896 near the end of the ledger. (OS Shelf 2)

There are 2 bonds for debts to John Armstrong, 1855 and 1865.
There is a bill of sale for wooden boats to John Armstrong, 1968 and a certificate of ownership of shares in the barque, "Jennie Armstrong" and registered ownership of the brig "Maggie.
There is a confirmation of discharge, 1875, which was John Armstrong's official discharge in his declaration of insolvency. The actual date of the confirmation was 29 November 1875 at the City of Saint John in the County of Saint John. This document was prepared by S.R. Thomson, Solicitor to the Insolvent
These insurance policies, dated 1870-1871, include marine insurance for two ships and fire insurance for properties in Saint John and Sussex Corner, New Brunswick.
This fonds consists primarily of Baxter's records of the Royal Commission to inquire into statements made by "The Standard" concerning the Provincial Hospital at Fairville, New Brunswick. It includes issues of the paper, drafts of the report and testimony, extracts from the press and correspondence. There is also a number of documents collected by Baxter including letters from famous people and original miltiary records of Saint John, 1808-1926.
The John Clarence Webster Fonds consists mainly of his correspondence from the mid 1920s to 1950. Documents from his time in Edinburgh, Montreal and Chicago have been placed with his personal papers. Other personal papers include letters of condolence, memberships, and invitations. Correspondence relating to the acquistion of artifacts for his Canadiana collection has been grouped together as a series following the arrangement of the published catalogues. His work on boards and committees forms another series with the exception of the Committee of Management, Quebec House, England which was kept with the Wolfe series. His collection of manuscripts and his historical correspondence have been arranged by subject. Other correspondence has been arranged in the general correspondence series.
