There is also information on caskets and funerals, with names and dates. Account books include a list of funerals from 1867-1885 with names and ages of deceased. The ledger has a separate index. "The Cabinetmakers Assistant" published by Blackies in Glasgow, Scotland in 1853, containing furniture designs, is also included.

The fonds consists 2 prompt books, one for "As You Like It" and the other for "Virginius", both plays performed in Saint John sometime around 1897. The books were made by separating the pages of the published scripts and pasting each page onto the page of a larger note book, thus leaving ample space for notes about stage directions, lighting and other matters.

This fonds contains the minute book of the St. John Pilot's Club for 1895-1897. There is also a scrapbook of press clippings about an inquiry into pilotage dues in the port of Saint John in 1895. The inquiry was held before Captain Smith and Captain Douglas.

Fonds includes music and prayer books, Paisley genealogy notes, correspondence between Harriet Paisley and her parents, 1879-1881. There is an invitation to William and Miss Paisley from the City of Saint John, 1890 and a typescript and original of Harriet Paisley's diary, 1892. There are autographs albums, 1881-1887, 1888-1897 and typescript as well as a scrapbook.
