The fonds consists of a journal or memorandum book compiled by Innes. It contains dates of death of her family members and other individuals, primarily Saint John residents; texts of sermons by clergy in Saint John including some for funerals; texts for prayers and Bible verses. There are 3 recipes for cures for such ailments as sore joints and rheumatism. Also included in the journal are dates and locations of fires in Saint John and Portland, and a few dates of storms and earthquakes or tremors. Dates of some marriages, mostly in Saint John and Portland, are also recorded in the journal.

Enquiry into the Empress of Ireland
This fonds consists of 4 bound volumes of typescripts and 1 folder dealing with the commission into the wreck of the "Empress of Ireland."
The 4 bound volumes are one of the sets of original copies made for the members of the commission and contain the verbatim evidence heard by the enquiry. Volume 1 - (2 copies) 16-19 June 1914 includes typed alphabetical index of volumes I and II. Volume III, 26-27 June 1914, includes the closing arguments. There is also a file folder including a certificate of appointment of commissioners; a photograph of commissioners, and a copy of a map prepared by Captain Kendall showing the course of the "Empress" and the supposed course of the "Storstadt".

This fonds includes Saint John City and Municipality records, 1962-1965 and briefs and petitions regarding the Parish of Simonds, College Development Corporation, Rural Municipalities Assoc., 1961-1966. Personal material of Whitebone includes a copy of a Breton-English dictionary he wrote and papers by Whitebone on "The state and the common good" and "Cornwall".
