Mr. Wood wrote "River Boats and Reveries" on November 1, 1969, for his niece in order to detail the use of steamships in the area, and also detail all of those, within his memory, that have passed away. It is a collection of stories focused on steamships. "A Big Tree And A Little History" Mr. Wood wrote on October 11, 1968 about a tree named "Prince of Wales" located near Harding's Point.
