This series consists of a listing of provincial and county government records, which are housed in the Government Records Section of the Provincial Archives. The items included were created by or delivered to the government body responsible for the matter at hand. Researchers must note that the "RS Number" following the item description is the code necessary to retrieving the item from Government Records. The material in this series dates between 1788 and 1911.

This series consists of research notes and compilations of G. Harold Markham, of Saint John, who is numbered with those New Brunswick historians of the mid-twentieth century such as Maxwell and Manny who contributed so much to the preservation of the history of the Province. The items here reflect a great deal of meticulous research as well as writing, and establish Markham as one who could vie for the title "New Brunswick's Military Historian".

This series consists of 35mm Kodachrome transparencies, that document the construction on the Mactaquac Hydro Dam from 1964 – 1968 and the effects of the Dam on the St. John river and communities that were flooded, including Jewett’s Mill where the Grant farm was located.

Henry Bartlett Rainsford

The Series consists of Henry Bartlett’s correspondence, receipts, account statements, etc. of his business affairs, 1822-1842. Also, three publications given to Bliss Carmen by his family in 1845
and two land records thought to come into Mr. Riansford's possession as he was deputy
commissioner of crown lands. The 70 records are listed as follows.

The Woodbridge Collection is very diverse, and dates from 1900 to 1955. A large part of it is comprised of military material, which includes Woodbridge's commissions and certificates, military correspondence and official forms, ledgers, returns and schedules. Also in the collection are items, which reflect aspects of Woodbridge's personal life: correspondence, poetry, greeting cards, programmes, photographs, clippings, and maps.

This series consists of sixty-one items that were produced as essays on a topic or the notes used to write an essay. These "notes" include typescripts of original documents made for research purposes. 'Provenance' dictates that the typescripts be placed by themselves rather than with the original.

Series consists of material related to the Hubbard family, including photographs and textual records.

The records pertain primarily to a descendant, Dora Louisa Hubbard (1882-1968), who after receiving her schooling in Burton attended the Newtown Hospital School in Massachusetts, graduating in 1914 as a registered nurse and she continued to nurse in the Newtown Hospital.
She went overseas in June 1916 serving until June 1917. Continuing her WW I service she then served with the American Red Cross until 1918. After the war she did private nursing in Boston until 1940, when she moved to Montreal, until 1953 when she retired and returned to Fredericton. In addition to Dora's records there is an item pertaining to Nathaniel Hubbard and an item pertaining to Belmont House of R.D. Wilmot.
