This fonds contains personal letters to Lloyd or Charles G.D. Roberts and holograph and typescript copies of poems by them. It also includes their literary notebooks and copies of their published works, as well as Charles G.D. Roberts's royalty statements, correspondence from his publishers, his literary agreements, and clippings about his literary activities. The fonds also includes a very few typescript, holograph, or published copies of works by Bliss Carman, Theodore Goodridge Roberts, Leila Roberts, and other writers.

This fonds documents the activities of the York County (NB) Constituency Council of the CCF between 14 July 1944 and 13 September 1947. It includes a record book containing minutes of meetings, accounts of payments and expenditures, and pledges and donations for the Campaign Fund. There is also a file of miscellaneous CCF-related items that includes notices and agendas of meetings for the York County Constituency Council, financial statements, a letter from the Upper Hainesville CCF Club with an attached list of officers' and members' names, financial statements, and newspaper clippings. There is also a four-page leaflet, published by the federal Progressive Conservative Party, entitled "Let the record speak".

This fonds documents the personal, religious and professional lives of Ezekiel McLeod, Joseph McLeod and to a minor extent, Joseph McLeod's sons, from 1849-1944. Contained in the fonds are Religious Intelligencer business records including ledgers, accounts and financial documentation. Also included are sermons, speeches and meditations, correspondence, documentation pertaining to the Royal Commission on The Liquor Traffic, 1892, Maritime Prohibition Minute book, 1900 - 1901, and material relating to temperance and prohibition. Formats are mostly original and include handwritten business records and notes, a booklet, newspapers, publications and typescripts.

This fonds documents the literary career of poet and prose writer Charles G.D. Roberts, which spanned more than six decades. It also reflects his activities both as an editor and a promoter of Canadian literature and Canadian writers. In addition, the fonds sheds light on his family life, his travels abroad, his years in the British and Canadian armies, his work with the Canadian Authors' Association, his financial difficulties, and his personal relationships. It also provides information about the literary careers of other members of the Roberts family, most notably, Theodore Goodridge Roberts and Lloyd Roberts.

It contains correspondence, a family scrapbook, Roberts's notebook, and holograph and typescript poems, stories and essays by Roberts, Bliss Carman and other writers. The fonds also includes copies of published poems, essays and stories by Charles G.D. Roberts, Bliss Carman, Theodore Goodridge Roberts, Lloyd Roberts, and Dorothy Roberts Leisner as well as published articles about Charles G.D. Roberts and other members of the Roberts family.
