Log-book recording a voyage from Campobello to New York (November 7, 1855), John Coe Master, and a voyage from New York to London (December 11, 1855), Peter Morrison Master. The book was used again years later by the McKenzie family of Mascarene, first for accounts (1867-1869), and then as a diary in 1884.

Brown secretary; a certificate for Lot No. 234 on Cedar Avenue, value 18 pounds, issued to Riv. John S. Thompson September 18, 1861 signed by D. Brown.
Photocopy and transcript of letter from Richard Fitzgerald in San Francisco to his friend 'Coakley' in St. Andrews, dated May 3rd, 1856. The letter describes a riot in Panama, life in San Francisco, and mentions several St. Andrews residents.

This log book contains entries from the voyage of the Brig. A. V. Goodhue in 1862 from New York to St. Michaelina. In 1866 the book was used by Ruth Larkin as a scrapbook for poetry and notable quotations. A reference was found for the ship in the New York Times Archives, 4 February, 1865 page 8 - listing the ships in the harbour that day.
