This fonds documents the personal and public activities of E. Stone Wiggins and his wife Susie Wiggins. It consists of original material and includes correspondence with Lord Dufferin, Sir Leonard Tilley, Lord Lisgar, F. McLaughlin or their agents, a published copy of Universalism Unfounded written by E. Stone Wiggins (1867), a fee book for the Church of England Boys' College at Saint John (1875), an historical sketch of Samuel Leonard Tilley's family(1879) and a record of government reports sent to Queens County by E. Stone Wiggins (1879). Also included are the Gunhilda letters written by Susie Wiggins and published in 1881, daily journals and notebooks written by members of the Wiggins family, scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings, certificates and testimonials, and a geographical essay written by Wiggins in 1884. Fifteen mounted sepia photographs of prominent Canadians are also contained in this fonds.

This fonds includes legal and land documents, mostly in St. Andrews, accounts and receipts, and family and business correspondence. There are also some records of the MacStay family, 1824-1889.

This collection contains diaries and reports of weather, visitors, the times when the light was lit and turned off, and the length of time operating each day. The records were kept by the Grand Harbour lighthouse keepers from 1949-1960. There are also blank forms of Hand Horn or Fog Bell Returns.

This fonds documents the successful press campaign launched by Jennifer Prosser Wade in 1984 to secure the return to Canada of Bruce Curtis, convicted in 1983 by a New Jersey court of aggravated manslaughter in the shooting death of Rosemary Podgis. At the time, the Nova Scotia native was serving a 20-year sentence in a New Jersey youth facility. This fonds also highlights the involvement of volunteers and members of the Curtis family in the campaign as well as the role played by various political leaders, government officials, lawyers, and journalists.

It includes correspondence, reports, briefs, newspaper clippings, copies of published articles, and three booklets written by Bruce Curtis while incarcerated. It also includes three videos and one cassette tape of radio and television interviews and news programmes aired about the case.

This is a collection of personal correspondence from Desmond Pacey to Margaret and/or T.J. Hicks. Largely it consists of personal news about general activities and family life. It includes some Christmas cards with photographs of the Pacey Family, cards by Mary Pacey and newspaper clippings about Desmond Pacey.

This collection documents the Duke's military activities at Gibraltar, Canada, and the West Indies. The majority of the correspondence is between Prince Edward and Colonel, later General, William Edmeston, however, there are a few letters to Edmeston from other military officers and administrators including I. Hale, G. Smyth, John Montrifor, G.H. Charlton, I.A. Vesey, and Lieutenant Colonel Scott. The letters were written from various locations: Gibraltar, Quebec, Halifax, St. Helen's, Hilsea, London, and Antrim and discuss the 50th Regiment of Foot and the Royal Fusiliers. The collection also contains two separate lists containing the names, age and height of soldiers transferred between the 50th Regiment of Foot and the Royal Fusiliers, one is dated 20 May 1791 and the other is undated; a three-page account, dated 11 April 1793, detailing a plot planned by four soldiers from the Royal Fusiliers to murder Prince Edward; and a copy of a four-page narrative, written on 20 February 1798, giving details of the battle fought by the Grenadiers of the 40th Regiment when the islands of Martinique, Grenada, St. Vincent, St. Lucia, and Tobago were taken during the Seven Years War.

This fonds documents the literary career of poet and prose writer Charles G.D. Roberts, which spanned more than six decades. It also reflects his activities both as an editor and a promoter of Canadian literature and Canadian writers. In addition, the fonds sheds light on his family life, his travels abroad, his years in the British and Canadian armies, his work with the Canadian Authors' Association, his financial difficulties, and his personal relationships. It also provides information about the literary careers of other members of the Roberts family, most notably, Theodore Goodridge Roberts and Lloyd Roberts.

It contains correspondence, a family scrapbook, Roberts's notebook, and holograph and typescript poems, stories and essays by Roberts, Bliss Carman and other writers. The fonds also includes copies of published poems, essays and stories by Charles G.D. Roberts, Bliss Carman, Theodore Goodridge Roberts, Lloyd Roberts, and Dorothy Roberts Leisner as well as published articles about Charles G.D. Roberts and other members of the Roberts family.

This fonds consists of a letter book containing copies of John Harvey's confidential letters to Lord Durham during the period that Durham was Governor General of British North America (29 May to 29 September 1838). Harvey discusses the need for reform, supports Durham's actions and discusses the Maine boundary issue.
