The fonds consists of two separate branches, Passamaqoddy and St. Croix. The former containing mostly Ladies Auxiliary with accounting history, memberships, and costs, and surrender of their charters and rights in 2018. The latter consists of meeting minutes of all sub-branches and memberships. Some reference to the Great War Veterans Association, a predecessor to the Royal Canadian Legion with a partial history of the branch since it’s founding. Further sub-branches covered by or in relation to the St. Croix branch is included, such as Beavers, Scouts, Ladies, Sr., and Jr. Auxiliary.

Janet Thom Hammock was born in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1942. After receiving her Artist Diploma at the University of Toronto and a Master’s Degree and Doctor of Musical Arts at Yale University, specializing in piano, she went on to teach as a Professor of Music at Mount Allison University (1975-2001). She was given the distinction of Professor Emeritus of Music in 2003. In her retirement, Hammock begin working with her friend Rev. Elden Hay taking over the Sackville/Amherst Chapter of Parents and Friends of Gays and Lesbians (PFLAG). Hammock was the president from 2003-2015 and her fonds contains material from her leadership role as well as personal documents such as letters to the editor and speeches. A few of the documents in the collection were created by her partner, the poet Marilyn Lerch.

It includes letters between family members; newspaper clippings about the family; and photographs of the family home and activities of George, his two wives, and their 13 children. The fonds also consists of a letter from Karen Eames in 2018 that accompanied the rest of the fonds documenting her knowledge of the Rogers side of her family.
