"This fonds consists of documents related to James C. Hovey's work with the provincial Department of Public Works as a supervisor of roads. There are letters regarding Hovey's responsibilities with the Department of Public Works, road tax notices, certificates, and correspondence with the Cobbler Sexton Mining Company Limited.

There are also documents from the parish of Northampton, school district 2, including minute books, teacher agreements for both Ella R. Purvis and Etta Grant (1919), and classroom registers for teachers Effie M. Forest and Annie E. Gibson, dated 1915-1916 and 1925-1926. The relationship between James Hovey and the school records is unknown."

This fonds consists of documents related to Jeremiah M. Connell's activities as a land owner in Carleton County. There are land grants, J.M. Connell's probate, and an estate list which contains information on real estate and bank and farm stock owned by J.M. Connell. It also lists names of those indebted to J.M. Connell through bonds and mortgages. Fonds also contains records of these bonds, mortgages, and deeds, and J.M. Connell's account information.

This fonds mainly consists of materials related to John Louis Carleton's activities as an amateur playwright. The fonds includes correspondence between J. L. Carleton and Cornhill Publishing Co., newspaper clippings, show programs, and manuscripts of the following plays: "The Medieval Hun," "Lores Defender," "The Dungarvans," "Oh How Delightful," "The Crimson Wing," "The O'Mahoney," "The Middogue," "The Lord of Cashel," "The Purple Testament," "Ready, Aye Ready," and an untitled play.

This fonds documents George F. Boyer's life as a university student and his work as a wildlife conservationist. It includes photographs of wildlife and their breeding grounds. Dates of these photographs are not given nor is the geographic location. Photographs also include snapshots of George F. Boyer and slides of Maritime wildlife. Fonds additionally contains a 1937 senior sawmill report written during his studies at the University of New Brunswick, University of Illinois course notes, Boyer's 1938 Bachelor of Science degree certificate from the University of New Brunswick, and his 1960 death certificate.

There are minutes and registration books listing names of the original members, topics discussed, and account information. Also included in the fonds are two school registers, both from district 10 Carleton County, parish of Aberdeen, Foreston: from teacher Cassie M. J. Lee, 1924-1925; and from teacher Nora Thompson, 1928.

Fonds consists of documents related to George H. Connell's activities as a land owner and merchant. There are correspondence, deeds, financial information, and descriptions of property. Correspondence includes letters from customers, family relatives, and political associates in Ottawa, and telegrams. Deeds contain the date, description of property, amount, and names of those involved in the transaction. Financial documents include two cash books, a ledger, and insurance renewal for George H. Connell and Charles Connell. Descriptions of property name the location, acreage, and names of owners.

This fonds mainly consists of legal documents and correspondence pertaining to L.P. Fisher's profession as an attorney in Carleton County. There are signed mortgages, deeds, insurance policies, bonds, and leases written and witnessed by Lewis P. Fisher for clients of his law practice. The documents contain the names of the people or companies involved in the contracts, the cost involved in the transaction, and the location of the property. Almost all of these documents were created during Fisher's partnership with Jones, 1845-1875. Fonds also consists of Lewis Fisher's receipts and financial correspondence mostly written or received by the Commercial Bank while Fisher was acting as its agent. Legal documents concerning Fisher's activities as a land owner include materials pertaining to the sale and purchase of property, cost, descriptions, and location information. Estate materials in the fonds consist of correspondence and account information mostly handled by Allison B. Connell, one of the executors of Fisher's estate.
