There is a letter sent by Mary Flagg, Manager & Research Officer Archives & Special Collections, Harriet Irving Library, University of New Brunswick, NB that accompanied a photocopy of a 1856 letter she found in relation to this map and sent a copy to the Grand Manan Archives dated April 11, 1988.
