This fonds contains the administrative records of Fredericton Council #746, United Commercial Travelers of America. It consists of correspondence, minutes of meetings, brochures, and pamphlets. Also included are a brief history of the council entitled "The First Twenty-five Years", prepared by Frank S. Corbin in 1974, and two audio cassettes used in preparation of the history. The audio cassettes have been transferred to the Audio Visual Section.

Research notes and clippings pertain primarily to various kinds of animals, humane societies, Dr. Albert Schweitzer, and environmental matters. Canadian, American, and overseas periodicals, magazines, and newsletters relate to various animal welfare agencies, humane societies, charitable associations, government departments or agencies, and to nature themes.

This collection contains material related to Charlotte County's one room schools, including a poem and a note from the Charlotte County Historical Society related to research that was being done into the subject.

This fonds consists of records created in opening and operating the Grand Manan Museum. Included are construction files, opening and maintenance files, minutes of meetings, annual reports, architectural plans, and correspondence about displays and loans for early exhibits.

This collection documents the activities of the Fredericton Women's Study Club from 1940 to 1947. It consists of 3 scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings, minutes, and correspondence.

The membership lists are categorized by size of plot, area cultivated, and lots wanted. The typed report, dated February 1919, includes statistics on membership by category but is incomplete. A map of plots on Hawthorne Avenue is included.

Correspondence from the Department of Agriculture, Office of the Food Controller, and the Canadian Government Seed Purchasing Commission is included as are letters from the Experimental Farm at Fredericton, N.B. and the Motor Vehicle Board. Included too are invoices for equipment and supplies.
