This fonds consists of two medical journals--one containing records kept during his medical practice (14 April 1884 - 29 May 1892), the other recording daily transactions (1 October 1887 - 1 April 1892), a scrapbook containing photographs, loose photographs, and glass negatives. It also contains a biography file containing photocopies of newspaper stories and photos of Dr. George Noyes, and a handmade scrapbook by his son Benjamin L. Noyes entitled "Historical & Scenic Volume, Grand Manan Island, Charlotte County, N.B."

This fonds contains the monthly reports of keepers at Long Eddy fog alarm from 1874-1946. It includes records of the weather, the stores and supplies ordered, the repairs made, and the hours the fog alarm was operating.
This fonds consists of 11 handwritten diaries. Agnes kept the diaries until her death and Danny continued them until 1957. The dates printed on the cover of the books do not correspond to the contents of the records. The contents include notes on weather conditions, deaths, purchases at the local store, visitations, social events, and a record of correspondence she wrote. Danny's entries were mainly regarding the weather.
This fonds contains a binder of original letters from Ernest Joy to Robert Cunningham with newspaper clippings, diary excerpts, and meteorological reports from Kent Island. There is also one photograph of Ernest Joy with his housekeeper and companion, Carrie.

The contents include: correspondence ; invoices in alphabetical order, with catalogues and advertising and ledgers from suppliers ; day books and journals in chronological order ; Telegrams in alphabetical order by local resident name 1916-1929 ; Registered letter ledger for Seal Cove Post Office 1911-1914 ; Journal for recording telephone calls 1953-1954 ; and original fish can labels two different types. This fonds consists of three scribbler notebooks, containing the notes made by Eunice L. Ingersoll as she attended nursing school in McLean Hospital, Waverly, Massachusetts (USA). One of the books was used at the Surgical Hospital, Brookline, Massachusetts (USA) between 1901-1903. Inside cover notes "E.L. Ingersoll, McLean Hospital, Waverly, Mass.", "Eunice Ingersoll, McLean Hospital Oct 1901 & 1902, Lectures by Dr. Tuttle" and "Eunice L. Ingersoll, Surgical Hospital, Brookline, Mass."
This ledger appears to have been used by multiple owners. The inside cover has "H. C. Seely, St. John, NB August, 1879" written. The beginning of the book has alphabetized pages with non Grand Manan names probably from the St. John business. Then the ledger was used from 1882-1889 for various accounts. Pages have been cut out of the book as well. Some of the Grand Manan connections are: Island Press, James Pettes 1885, Church of Ascension Accounts, Post Office, Sunday School 1904.
