The document starts out with a list of names and how much money they gave to the school district from the years of 1941-1946. The document then goes to the minutes of annual meetings in Pascobac School District.

Percy R. Allaby, son of Rev. and Mrs. E. A. Allaby was lying mortally wounded during the fight at Vimy Ridge and when help arrived for him he said, "Never mind me; do what you can for the rest.". This poem was written in honor of his selfless last words.
