Entries in this Day Book start Nov. 1911 and go to 30 August 1914. Every page is used. The information lists people's names and a detailed list of their purchases with the costs and totals. Entries were marked paid and had pencil lines through them once paid. Ledger has been to PANB for cleaning and a special ledger box was made for it.

This document contains some of the history of Hampton and surrounding areas.

This ledger appears to have been used by multiple owners. The inside cover has "H. C. Seely, St. John, NB August, 1879" written. The beginning of the book has alphabetized pages with non Grand Manan names probably from the St. John business. Then the ledger was used from 1882-1889 for various accounts. Pages have been cut out of the book as well. Some of the Grand Manan connections are: Island Press, James Pettes 1885, Church of Ascension Accounts, Post Office, Sunday School 1904.
