This 28-page logbook for the brigantine "L. W. Eaton" records 4 voyages, 1 completed in 1875 and 3 completed in 1879, namely: New York, New York, to Halifax, Nova Scotia, April 1875; Chatham, New Brunswick, to St. John's, Newfoundland, June 1879; St. Johns, NF, to Chatham, NB, June 1879; and Chatham, NB, to St-Pierre and Miquelon, July 1879. The log records the daily notes for each voyage which make reference to bearing, weather, and distance sailed.

This fonds contains 123 watercolours of NB wildflowers painted by Elizabeth Beckwith Hazen. Most are dated between 1867 and 1873.

The watercolours that are stored in Box 1 (1 - 52) are loose, and mostly undated. The watercolours in Box 3 (53 - 121) are part of a book New Brunswick Wild Flowers and are loose, with some dates. Many of the watercolours were matted for exhibits. The mattes have since been removed and are stored in Box 2.

A pocket book labelled “Autographs”, which contains signatures from St. Andrews residents addressed to “Chrissie”.

This fonds consists of a business ledger of David Wetmore, Jr., which contains references to surveyors and operations within the lumbering camp.

Fonds consists of hand-written letters sent by the Reverend William S. Ferguson to his cousin Alexander Ferguson between 1852 and 1879. Also included are transcribed copies of the earliest five letters.

This fonds consists of a minute book which contains minutes of meetings of the Maternal Association of Milltown St. Stephen, as well as lists of members and their children and a copy of the constitution.

A number of pages have been removed from the book. The final entry, dated 1879, concerns the death of an unnamed woman.

Item is a framed membership certificate to the Shipmaster's Association awarded to Captain William Pringle.

This ledger appears to have been used by multiple owners. The inside cover has "H. C. Seely, St. John, NB August, 1879" written. The beginning of the book has alphabetized pages with non Grand Manan names probably from the St. John business. Then the ledger was used from 1882-1889 for various accounts. Pages have been cut out of the book as well. Some of the Grand Manan connections are: Island Press, James Pettes 1885, Church of Ascension Accounts, Post Office, Sunday School 1904.

'Daily News' issues featuring articles pertaining to the murder committed by Thomas Dowd and Mary Ward, Thomas Dowd's hanging and Mary Ward's imprisonment. Issues are from January 11th, 1879 and January 13th, 1879.

This fonds consists mainly of correspondence on matters related to Charlotte County. It contains correspondence about Charlotte County Bank, Charlotte County Grammar School, Campobello Island and Mill Cove Weir Company (herring fishing business). There are also records of the administration of various estates.
