A certificate for two shares in the St. Stephen Rural Cemetery, value 5 pounds issued to Nehemiah Marks December 17, 1856 and signed by F.H. Todd, Pres. and D. Brown secretary; a certificate for Lot No. 234 on Cedar Avenue, value 18 pounds, issued to Riv. John S. Thompson September 18, 1861 signed by D. Brown.
This fonds contains photocopies of New Brunswick Militia commissions. They provide the name of the individual, along with his rank, regiment or battalion, date of commission, and date of appointment.
This fonds consists of a contract to carry mail between Saint John and Fredericton for a three year period, beginning in 1828, and way bills detailing passengers and cargo, 1841-1845. It also includes records of land transactions and a freeman certificate from Saint John.
