It was used as a notebook and contains lists of items and their total prices. No dates are present in the notes, but the back of the book has a calendar dated to 1910.

A black booklet which contains lists of expenses for food, taxes, wood, and farm equipment and labor. The notes related to farm labor mention a place called "Sussex Vale". It also contains notes on goods that were sold from "Sussex Vale". Likely used by a farmer.
