Fonds consists of genealogical notes documenting the Boultenhouse, Purdy, and Barnes families of Sackville, New Brunswick. The contents include the following: a letter of introduction to the material; Boultenhouse family notes; an abbreviated version of the Purdy Family genealogy compiled by Clayton C. Purdy, assembled into a family tree, with a related expansion of the descendants of Henry Purdy of Fort Lawrence, Nova Scotia; and Barnes family genealogical notes.

Fonds consists of hand-written letters sent by the Reverend William S. Ferguson to his cousin Alexander Ferguson between 1852 and 1879. Also included are transcribed copies of the earliest five letters.

Fonds consists of diaries kept by Alice Bulmer, who lived at Aulac, New Brunswick, on the Cumberland ridge near the site of Fort Beausejour. The contents of the fonds describe daily activities in the midst of the Great Depression. Typical entries describe the weather, the farm and garden tasks performed by members of the family, and the coming and going of family members, relatives and neighbours. These latter interactions and movements are interesting, for they suggest both a freedom of movement that was available to rural people in the automobile age, and a relatively high level of casual visiting on the part of family and neighbours.

The contents of the article make suggestions about developing resources of the Chignecto Isthmus including a reference to tidal electric power.

Fonds consists of correspondence, certificates, clippings, recipe books, photographs, memorial tributes and obituaries, poetry and related documentation that gives evidence of the lives of members of the Allen family. The contents of the fonds document connections with the Mount Allison Ladies' College via student Bertha Allen and provide links to the literary Roberts family.

Collection consists of items accumulated or acquired relating to Allison M. Coll’s father, Rev. Dr. Norman Coll, including an autobiography and related biographical information.
